My name is Nida Hussain, and I am 25 years old. I currently reside in Maryland, where I was born and raised. I completed my undergraduate degree in Psychology and currently work for the National Institutes of Health. Working here has further intensified my passion to carry out a healthy lifestyle, as well as helping others to do the same. I wish to continue working within the healthcare field, as it is ever growing and evolving.
Although I was born and raised here in the United States, I find myself to be very connected to my ethnic roots. I hold my cultural values and traditions at a very high regard and thoroughly enjoy infusing both cultures I inherited in my everyday lifestyle. With that, I find myself to be a warmhearted, lively and humble person. I long for the day I can travel the world, embark on epic adventures, and add a different palette of colors into my life.
To be awarded Miss Pakistan would mean more than just receiving the title or a beautiful crown- it is a once in a life time opportunity to represent Pakistani women within the United States. I would take full advantage of this chance to not only educate individuals on what it means to be of Pakistani descent, but also actively participate in charities that focus on helping Pakistanis as well as others around the world
